Me @ 12 & 16 weeks

Thanks everyone for your sweet comments yesterday!  It’s been so fun talking with friends and reading all your facebook comments about this baby.  We are very blessed!   To answer some questions….Yes, this pregnancy has been totally different than my first.   I had a rough first trimester with this one so I’m happy with being in the second trimester now.  I don’t remember being so sick with Ezra.  With both pregnancies I have been zonked.   Totally, completely, fall-on-the-couch every day after work zonked.  Not every once in a while.  Every day.  I miss having energy!  Ezra and I both go to bed every night at 7:30.  My husband deserves the husband of the year award for all the work he’s done to keep our family going.   Something needs to be done at our house?  He’s on it.   He’s been very good to me.  Any cravings?  Nothing out of the ordinary, just food in general.  You name it, I’ll eat it.  🙂  I miss coffee.  Very, very, much.  I’ve been drinking one cup of half caff/half decaff every morning but that doesn’t cut it.  I miss the good, hard stuff.  And 2-3 cups of it like I normally drink as my non-pregnant self.  I also miss my daily diet dr. pepper in the afternoons.  And running.  I really, really, really miss running.  With both pregnancies I tried to keep my running up but it’s just not in the cards for me as a pregnant mama.  I’ve been sticking to the occasional walk (soooooo boring) every now and then but I’m looking forward to the day when I can run again.  Did we want a girl?  At first I wanted a boy.  Our experience with Ezra has been so good.  I can’t imagine anything better.  Logan wanted a girl.  It would be exciting for a completely different experience.   So that got me thinking and I would have been happy with either a boy or girl.  The sonogram guy told us at our 12 week sonogram that he thought it was a girl.  Too early to tell for sure but that was his guess.  So that’s what I’ve been going with for the past 5 weeks.  It has been fun to think about.  So the confirmation at our 17 week sonogram was exciting news.  We are pumped!  And what do I look like these days?  Still hanging on to a few pre-pregnancy clothes but for the most part I’m in the glamorous world of maternity wear.  At this point it’s all falling off of me.  Hard to imagine that in 20 more weeks I will be busting out of it.   Pregnancy amazes me!   And a few belly shots of me, my Ezra James, and our new baby GIRL….
